About DeGazon Music of Caledon (formerly Moura Music)
Moura Music Studios was founded by professional musician and instructor, Kate Moura. It has become the premier studio for budding musicians of all ages and types.
Students enjoy our comfortable at-home atmosphere. We are situated in a large century home with many rooms decorated with vibrant colours and designs inspired by the instruments we teach. Students like the relaxed feel of our music school as opposed to a strip mall or commercial building location. Our school is a calm learning environment for the students to reach all of their music goals.
DeGazon Music Studios began in 1995. Rachel DeGazon, the founder, taught with the York Region Board of Education. At that time, she found that the demand for excellent and convenient daytime music lessons among her students was growing rapidly! Anthony DeGazon began by assisting Rachel throughout the beginning stages and joined DeGazon Music Studios full time in 2005.
